14 young entrepreneurs have been shortlisted for a fantastic opportunity. It’s a job with multi-millionaire Sir Alan Sugar paying £100,000 a year and which offers the chance to learn from the master how to amass a personal fortune.

Sir Alan Sugar sets his candidates the challenge of designing a new product. But there’s a catch: it’s for the most difficult of consumers, kids aged 5-9.

Ep. 3:

Twelve candidates are left in the running to become Sir Alan Sugar’s Apprentice. And this week there’s a change in the sexual chemistry – Sugar decrees a corporate re-shuffle where boys and girls will work alongside each other for the first time.

The location is Knightsbridge, home to Harrods, the world’s most famous department store. On Saturdays tourists flock to Harrods in search of gifts and the task for each team is to schmooze the shoppers into buying from their stall.

Naked women confront the candidates when they’re given the task of flogging modern art.

Ep. 6:
|
This week each team has to come up with an advertising campaign for a new hi-fi product.

The task involves the art of negotiation and the candidates have to convince showbiz celebrities to donate something personal for auction.

This week big business goes back to grass roots as the candidates travel to find an agricultural product that can be transformed into a commodity and sold for profit at a City Farmers’ Market.

Ep. 9:
|
This week Sir Alan Sugar invites the remaining candidates to Tottenham Hotspur Football Club for one of its biggest fixtures – Spurs v Man Utd. The task is to conduct an aggressive marketing campaign for a text messaging service aimed at delivering team news direct to fans’ phones.

This week’s task is presenting a TV Show. But it’s a business task – so that means it’s on a TV Shopping Channel and involves selling products “live” on-air.

This week, with a place in the final at stake, the candidates are pitted against each other as individuals for the first time.

Ep. 12:
|
Two candidates are left in the battle to become Sir Alan Sugar’s Apprentice. And for their final task, they’re each told to organise a party on one of two rival luxury Thames Riverboats.
