Ep. 1:

Stuart and Vince, stalwarts of Manchester's gay village scene, are out on the pull in Canal Street. There they meet Nathan, young, wild and coming out with a vengeance, and nothing can ever be the same again.

Stuart pursues a client, Vince (not 'out' at work) is pursued by the new girl and Nathan, verging on obsession, is desperate to find Stuart again.

Ep. 3:

Stuart and Vince, on a wild night out, are pursued by Nathan and Rosalie, and Phil makes a new friend... with deadly consequences.

Stuart and Vince go to Phil's funeral where they meet up with numerous friends including his accountant Cameron Roberts and come face to face with his mother's grief. Janice Maloney finally confronts Nathan about his sexuality who, mortified, rushes of in search of Stuart.

Stuart makes some new friends, Nathan's behaviour makes Hazel furious and Janice desperate. Vince gets a surprise offer, and when Stuart lets down his sister Marie, she retaliates with some very unwelcome news.

Stuart and Marie visit their parents, and Vince introduces Cameron to his mum. Stuart has a violent confrontation with Nathan's father, and discovers that Romey has found a new father for his child.

Stuart throws a surprise party for Vince's 30th birthday, and becomes implicated in a dubious plan to discredit Romey's potential husband Lance.

Vince's paranoia at work intensifies - he's petrified that Rosalie has revealed his secret. The complicated plot to discredit Lance, Romey's potential husband, takes a turn for the worse. Stuart's world falls apart as for the first time he experiences rejection. Cameron declares his love to Vince. But will Vince be able to commit himself?
