Donna is disturbed by thoughts of Daniel, the son she and Ian gave up for adoption when she was 13. Jason arrives home in a foul mood after a talking to from Stefan and the rumours that another midfielder, Salvatore Biagi, is being brought to Earls Park to replace him. After taking his anger out on his wife Tanya he persuades her to ask Sparks chairman, Frank Laslett what's going on. Donna is pleased that her sister Marie has arrived in London and can help her with her search for her son.

While Chardonnay is trying to push the drunken Nigel away from her he manages to set the paper garland she is wearing round her neck on fire. Simone and the ladies return to the room just in time to see Chardonnay’s chest going up in flames. Tanya fills Kyle in on the accident and warns him that there will be scarring to Chardonnay’s chest. Tanya then returns home to find Jason and Marie naked together in the Jacuzzi. The following morning, Kyle is devastated when Chardonnay tells him that she wants to call the wedding off as she feels like a freak.

Kyle and Chardonnay’s fairytale wedding is a great success with all the team and some press present. Jason and Tanya congratulate themselves on their caring performance about Frank. Chardonnay and Kyle return home for their wedding night. Chardonnay is becoming increasingly sensitive about her scarring after the accident. Ian returns home to find the press waiting for him with questions about Daniel. Chardonnay and Kyle discuss Donna and Ian’s situation.

Tanya continues to be tortured by nightmares of Frank. Donna wakes Ian up after he’s spent the night on the sofa. Despite his pleas she refuses to forgive his unfaithfulness as it has jeopardized her custody battle for Daniel. Chardonnay explains to Kyle that she wants to change her image so that the public don’t pester her anymore. Chardonnay gets her new short hair re-styled and dyed dark brown and Kyle tries to reassure Chardonnay that he still loves her whatever she looks like but is actually lying. Tanya faints at the hospital when Frank suddenly moves his arm.

Picking up directly from the last episode, Tanya confronts Nurse Dunkley about her perverted behaviour. While she is begging for forgiveness Tanya realises that she now has a hold over her which she can turn to her advantage. Tanya persuades Nurse Dunkley that the best thing for Frank would be to let him die peacefully by turning off his life support machine. She orders her to make Frank’s ex-wife, Marguerite, agree to this. Chardonnay leaves to her house and finds herself surrounded by reporters asking her for comments on the two men who burnt her being let off.

Everyone at the hospital is stunned by Frank’s recovery, though Tanya is absolutely horrified. When Sal and Marie return home after their meal out a drunken and jealous Jason smashes their windscreen with a baseball bat. Chardonnay is hurt when she finds the old magazine pictures of herself that Kyle has been looking at. Stefan orders Jason to apologise to Sal in front of the squad. Archie is surprised when Stefan tells him that he plans to punish Jason further by putting him on the bench for the time being. Chardonnay goes shopping with a view to getting Kyle to fancy her again. Tanya warns Nurse Dunkley that she will have to find another way to get rid of Frank otherwise she will find herself in prison for molesting him.

Jason is sceptical when Jackie announces that she is pregnant with his baby. When he eventually accepts that it is his he tells Jackie that she must have an abortion. Tanya pretends to be pleased when Frank tells her that he wants to carry on their affair. Jackie is gobsmacked when Kyle and Chardonnay joyfully announce they are having a baby.

Jason is getting increasingly jealous about Tanya’s pretend affair with Frank despite her assurances that it will keep them out of trouble. Chardonnay is warming to the idea of pretending that Jackie’s baby is hers, especially when Jackie reminds her of the effects pregnancy has on the figure but Kyle refuses to countenance it.
